  • If not resolved, talk to the co-op liaison to the Elders of the church, Jon Welch (in person or jonwelchco@gmail.com)

What if I am sick or my child is sick?
Use your common sense in determining whether you should come to co-op.  If you think you may be contagious, err on the side of being safe and stay at home. Please contact the church at 859-234-0080 or
Mary Gim Norfleet at 859-234-7952 to let us know if you will be staying home.

Do I or my child/children have to wear masks?
No, not unless it makes you more comfortable but please be respectful of others, practice good manners, and wash your hands often.  If you are not feeling well, please stay at home.  We never know what tomorrow is going to bring so this could change from one week to another.

Is there a dress code?
No, but we do appreciate students and parents dressing modestly.

Will we have “school” pictures, field trips, parties, or senior graduation?
Yes, but we will need parent volunteers to make this happen.

Could someone be asked not to come back to co-op?
Yes, but we do not think this would happen.  The ministry team and leadership of Leesburg Christian Church could ask a family  not to participate in the co-op for any reason which seems in the best interest of the group as a whole.

Since the co-op is a ministry of Leesburg Christian Church, what exactly does the church believe?
  • We believe the Bible is the divinely inspired Word of God.  It is the authority for our lives, beliefs, conduct, and is useful for teaching, rebuking, instructing and training.
  • We believe all things were created by God in six literal days of creation as described in Genesis 1:1- 2:3.
  • We believe in a triune God:  the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit
  • We believe all people are created in the image of God and are worthy of respect and dignity.
  • We believe God created in His image, male and female.  Both are made in the image of God but different.  We believe marriage should be as God created it, between one biological man and one biological woman.
  • We believe all mankind has suffered the consequences of Adam and Eve’s disobedience, the fall of humanity and as a result, all people are lost and hopeless without a perfect, holy Savior.
  • We believe Jesus was made like us in every way so He could be our Savior, being born of a virgin, living a sinless life, dying to satisfy the debt of humanity, rising on the third day, and is now sitting at the right hand of the Father interceding on our behalf.
  • We believe salvation is a gift from God to all who believe.  God’s prescribed response for a believer is to repent and be baptized for the forgiveness of sins and for the gift of the Holy Spirit.
